On Saturday 15th
July 2006, ARFC's youngest member, 11 month old Owen Jenkins
completed the Sainsbury's Sport Relief mile at East Garston,
Lambourn. Ably pushed around the course
by parents Dave Jenkins and Lisa Robertson, Owen raised £240
in sponsorship. Some of this coming from friends at
Aldermaston RFC.
Owen, the
youngest entrant at the event, finished a credible 56th out
of 65 with a time of 18 mins 34 secs, beating Mum and Dad by
the length of a pushchair!
