For those of you who attended the St Patrick's Day Parade - this may be have been your first introduction to a little boy named Jack.

Jack is a BIG fan of London Irish - ( a bigger fan than Jas Burke! )- and is a very special young man.

Jack was diagnosed with cancer at just eight months old and has been in and out of hospital for most of his life. He's been receiving chemotherapy at Southampton General recently and as usual he's been a very brave boy.
Exiles players Riki Flutey and Ben Willis were delighted to be involved in the special visit. They said 'it was a pleasure to make a difference to Jack's day and put such a big smile on his face. It was a very humbling experience for us.

Meet Jack here

Our very own juniors helped to wish Jack a very speedy recovery by carrying Get Well Soon Jack banners for the St Patrick's Day parade, however, these banners could not come close to 'Jack's Flag' which takes pride of place at Exiles games.

Everyone at Aldermaston RFC would like to extend our best wishes to Jack and his family. We all hope that he is back with his boots gracing the Madjeski turf very soon.

In the true spirit of rugby, any friend of our partner London Irish, is a friend of ours
