A good day
all round, we supplied 6 ball boys for the fixture
against Bristol. Aldermaston were given a really great
welcome by the person on the Public Address system and
he announced to all 7400 people that we were London
Irish's newest community partner, and that we had
represented them, and played at Twickenham and also that
the previous weekend we had a fun day that Digger had
attended.
The lads that
attended, Mathew Spence, Graham McKenzie, Jack Parsons,
Charlie Nicol, Rhys Hawes & Callum Livingston, were all
a credit to both clubs and enjoyed the day out
immensely. I suspect we may have brought some
Aldermaston luck with us as London Irish managed their
first home win in over 10 months the final score being 24 -
22 to London Irish and the final ten minutes were
absolutely nail biting.
