Here's one for the thirsty rugby type , a visit to the home of Good Old Boy and Full Circle , the West Berkshire Brewery in Yattendon on Wednesday 12th May 2010.

This coming Saturday 13th March see's the 6th Annual Schools TAG Tournament at Aldermaston Rugby Club.

Local Schools will compete in Upper and Lower age groups at the Rec.Soc , registration is 9.30am with matches starting at 10.00am sharp. Why not come along and cheer on the players of the future. Also attendance will be the London Irish mascot Digger the Dog. Refresments will be on sale at the ground.  

A cold day saw our U14’s take on the Oxford team which narrowly beat us in our first game of the season back in November. We welcomed a new player (Renzo) who played at 1 this week, a much needed potential new recruit in a week that saw us managing to field 16 players, despite some regulars Gregg P, Gregg A and Gavin all being absent. Jamie stepped in as Captain and thanks go to John Brewer, who loaned Kristian and Jack F.

With the 1st team pitch under water, and the second pitch with laying water, it was decided that today’s game should go ahead despite the conditions. This is after all a game of Rugby and both teams were more than eager for the re match, so with a little help, the water was pushed off the field of play.

The first weekly winners of the Under 14/15 Tour Fund Bonus Ball competition can now be announced.
